Berhampur: Tata Power Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Rayagada to enhance skill development and promote safety practices.
The MOU signing took place at the TPSODL’s corporate office, with the CEO, Amit Kumar Garg, and ITI Principal, Atulya Kumar Panda, in attendance.
Under this partnership, TPSODL and ITI will jointly develop a curriculum that aligns with industry-specific safety practices employed by TPSODL. The initiative aims to address the curriculum gap by integrating safety and skill development training with Tata Power’s operational dynamics.
The program will provide ITI students with hands-on training through practical workshops, real-life scenarios, and a blend of classroom and practical sessions.
This collaboration marks the third MOU signed by TPSODL with ITIs, following partnerships with Berhampur ITI and Hinjilicut ITI.
Amit Kumar Garg, CEO of TPSODL, commented, “By partnering with ITI-Rayagada, we are elevating skill development and safety practices, bridging gaps, and empowering future professionals. We remain committed to fostering a robust safety culture through such initiatives.”
