Roopa Roshan Sahoo Appointed as Commissioner-Cum-Secretary of ST & SC Dev, M&BCW Dept

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has appointed Roopa Roshan Sahoo, IAS, as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department. The General Administration Department issued a notification confirming her new role.

Roopa Roshan Sahoo, a 2006 batch IAS officer, previously served as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister of Odisha. She also held the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the ST & SC Development and Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare (M & BCW) Department.

The official notification stated: “Roopa Roshan Sahoo, Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-secretary, ST & SC development department, M & BCW department is appointed as Commissioner-cum-secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, M & BCW department.”
