PV Sindhu wins Syed Modi International Badminton Title

New Delhi: Two time Olympics medalist, PV Sindhu won the Syed Modi India International 2022 tournament.

She beat compatriot Malvika Bansod in straight games of 21-13 21-16 in a lop-sided title clash which lasted just 35 minutes.

It is Sindhu’s second Syed Modi India International title.

The men’s singles final of the Syed Modi India International 2022 between Arnaud Merkle and Lucas Claerbout has been declared a ‘No Match’. One of the finalists of men’s single has tested positive for COVID-19 this morning. While, the other finalist is deemed a close contact and has withdrawn.
