Punjab Youtuber Booked for Racial Slur On MLA Ering and Calling Arunachal Pradesh Part of China

Itanagar: A case has been registered against Paras Singh, a youtuber from Punjab who posted a video with racial comments on MLA and Congress leader Ninong Ering and on the people of Arunachal Pradesh.

Paras who runs a You tube channel posted a video on May 23 and called Ninong Ering ‘Non-Indian and Arunachal Pradesh ‘a part of China’.

Paras, who is a PUBG gamer reacted to the letter the congress leader has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban the relaunch of PUBG mobile India’s new game Battlegrounds Mobile In India.

The video soon became viral and it caused uproar in Arunachal Pradesh. The people of the state demanded strong action against the Youtuber for spreading hatred and racial slur against people of Arunachal Pradesh.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu has also tweeted that a case has been registered against the youtuber under section 124A/ 153A/ 505(2) IPC.

Meanwhile, Paras’s mother apologized and claimed that he has been taken away by police and she is unaware about his whereabouts.
