
Bhubaneswar: In a push to upgrade primary education infrastructure, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday reviewed and finalised the implementation roadmap for the Godabarish Mishra Adarsh Prathamika Vidyalaya project.
The high-level meeting held at Lok Seva Bhawan focused on critical planning aspects, including land identification, campus design, and the creation of essential facilities such as playgrounds and multipurpose halls.
Officials deliberated on developing modern, well-equipped school campuses that can support holistic learning. The project aims to set up model primary schools with improved infrastructure and learning environments across the state.
Emphasising long-term planning, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure sufficient land availability for each institution, including acquiring additional land wherever necessary to meet future requirements.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to quality education, Majhi said the initiative would ensure that students have access to modern facilities and a conducive learning environment.
