New Delhi:  In a bid to enhance the participation of first-time voters in the democratic process, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon citizens from all walks of life to join hands in spreading the message of the ‘Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye’ campaign.

The campaign, aimed at raising awareness and motivating young voters to actively engage in the electoral process, is gaining momentum across the nation. Union Minister Anurag Thakur took to social media, sharing the campaign’s anthem on his official handle and urging citizens to join the movement.

On a recent post by Union Minister Thakur, Prime Minister Modi responded, emphasizing the importance of making the electoral process more participative. He called upon people from diverse backgrounds to contribute in their own unique ways to the campaign. The ‘Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye’ campaign seeks to instill a sense of responsibility and civic duty among first-time voters, encouraging them to exercise their right to vote and actively contribute to shaping the nation’s future.

As the campaign gains traction on social media platforms, citizens are being urged to share the anthem and other campaign materials to reach a wider audience. Various influencers, celebrities, and common citizens have already begun spreading the message, amplifying the call for increased voter participation.

In a country where a significant portion of the population comprises young voters, the campaign aims to harness their energy and enthusiasm towards building a stronger, more vibrant democracy. The Prime Minister’s call for widespread support reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring the active involvement of every citizen in the electoral process.

As the ‘Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye’ campaign gains momentum, it is expected to create a positive impact on voter turnout, particularly among first-time voters. The collective effort to spread awareness about the significance of participating in elections is a crucial step towards strengthening the democratic fabric of the nation.
