
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s tourism sector received a significant boost at the Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, with 121 investment intents totaling an impressive ₹8,153 crore. The announcement was made by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, who highlighted Odisha’s emergence as a prime investment hub.
Parida remarked, “Utkarsh Odisha is the ray of hope. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated, Odisha is the next major destination for investors. This year, the tourism sector alone has attracted over ₹8,153 crore in investment commitments. The establishment of an MSME park for women-led businesses and increasing women’s leadership roles are crucial steps toward a brighter future for Odisha.”
