A high-level meeting was held today under the chairpersonship of Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary of the Housing & Urban Development and Commerce & Transport Departments, to chalk out the roadmap for the celebration.

Senior officials from both departments actively participated in the deliberations, focusing on showcasing the government’s achievements over the past year through impactful and transparent public outreach.

Addressing the meeting, Smt. Padhee emphasized that the celebration must highlight the government’s commitment to development, transparency, good governance, and public welfare. She stressed the need for an inclusive approach that resonates with citizens at the grassroots level.

Among the key activities proposed during the meeting were:

  • Inauguration and foundation stone-laying ceremonies for critical infrastructure and welfare projects.
  • Audio-visual documentation of departmental progress and achievements.
  • Interactive citizen engagement activities focused on housing, sanitation, transportation, and urban development.
