Odisha Govt declares Half-Day on Jan 22 for the Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony

Bhubaneswar: In the occasion of “Pran Pratistha” at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, the Odisha government has declared a half-day closure for its offices and courts. The Revenue and Disaster Management department issued a notification on Thursday.

As per the directive, all the government offices will remain closed until 2 pm on January 22 (Monday). The decision is aligned with the nationwide recognition of the “Ram Lalla Pran Pratistha” event in Ayodhya.

The Central government has already declared a half-day holiday for its offices and industrial establishments across the country to mark this significant event.
