NHPC and Cheshire Home India Ink MoU for Medical Care and Nutritional Support

Faridabad: In a significant move towards corporate social responsibility, NHPC and Cheshire Home India, Delhi Unit, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide medical care and nutritional support to individuals with physical and mental challenges residing at Cheshire Home India, Okhla Road, Delhi Unit. The MoU outlines NHPC’s commitment to offering medical and nutritional assistance for a period of one year, accompanied by the provision of specialized healthcare professionals for resident care.

The MoU, inked on January 17, 2024, in Faridabad, signifies NHPC’s dedication to the well-being of the residents of Cheshire Home India, Delhi Unit. The agreement encompasses the provision of medical care and nutritional support, addressing the unique needs of individuals facing physical and mental challenges.

The signing ceremony, held in the presence of Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC, and Executive Director (CSR & SD), NHPC, saw the participation of GM (CSR & Sustainable Development), NHPC, and Retd. Major General Vijay Krishna, Member, Managing Committee, Cheshire Home India. The collaborative effort aims to enhance the quality of life for the residents by ensuring access to essential healthcare services and nutritional requirements.

As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, NHPC continues to engage in meaningful partnerships that positively impact communities and contribute to the welfare of society. The MoU with Cheshire Home India reflects NHPC’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment for those in need, aligning with its dedication to social welfare and inclusive development.
