In a clash where a draw would guarantee them a top spot in Group D and a place in the semifinals, Odisha FC showcased their determination, finishing the group stage with an unbeaten record. The key player of the match was Mourtada Fall, whose brilliant brace played a pivotal role in Odisha’s triumph.
All five goals in the match unfolded in the second half, adding to the excitement of the encounter. Odisha FC, having secured their spot in the semifinals, is set to face Group C winners Mumbai City FC on October 25. In the first semifinal on the preceding day, Group A leaders East Bengal will take on Group B champions Jamshedpur FC.
