
Bhubaneswar: Mannata Mishra, Odisha’s emerging swimming talent trained at Odisha IIS Swimming HPC, has achieved her first international accolade by clinching the silver medal in the women’s 200m Breaststroke event at the 1st BIMSTEC Aquatics Championships 2024 held in New Delhi.
The Odisha Sports Department proudly announced, “Odisha IIS Swimming HPC’s Mannata Mishra won her first international medal with a silver in women’s 200m Breaststroke at the 1st BIMSTEC Aquatics Championships 2024 in New Delhi,” extending their heartfelt congratulations to the accomplished swimmer.
Mannata, a consistent performer, has previously garnered multiple medals in state and national-level competitions while representing Odisha. Notably, she scripted history at the 37th National Games Goa 2023 by securing a bronze medal in the medley relay swimming team event.
