Ankita Bhakat emerged as the top performer among the Indian archers, securing the 11th spot with a commendable 54 points in the final end, bringing her aggregate to 666. Bhajan Kaur followed, scoring 53 points to finish 22nd in the standings with an aggregate of 659. Deepika Kumari, one of India’s most celebrated archers, secured 57 points in the final end, landing her in the 23rd position with an aggregate of 658.
The archers’ performance in the ranking round sets the stage for the elimination matches, where their seedings will play a crucial role in determining their path to potential medals. The Indian team, known for its resilience and skill, is hopeful for a strong showing in the upcoming rounds.
