
International Conference on Inclusive Higher Education Hosted by IIT Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: In a significant step toward strengthening industry-academia collaboration, IIT Bhubaneswar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TCS iON to launch a specialized certificate programme in cloud systems and infrastructure management. The agreement was officially signed by Dinakar Pasla, Dean of Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy at IIT Bhubaneswar, and V Ramaswamy, Global Head of TCS iON, during a formal ceremony held in the city.
This new certificate programme is structured to offer an in-depth learning experience that combines core academic principles with hands-on practical exposure. Designed to keep pace with the growing demands of the cloud computing industry, the course will feature expert instruction from seasoned academicians and top-tier industry professionals specializing in cloud technologies and artificial intelligence.
Open to recent graduates, mid-level professionals, and entrepreneurs, the course aims to deliver both fundamental knowledge and advanced capabilities in managing cloud-based infrastructure. It also marks the beginning of a broader partnership between IIT Bhubaneswar and TCS, which could include collaborative research projects and innovation-driven initiatives in the future.
Emphasizing the relevance of the programme, officials noted that the course is tailored to help participants gain real-world competencies that are vital in today’s fast-evolving tech landscape. The curriculum is designed to support India’s digital transformation goals by preparing a workforce equipped with skills aligned with current and future industry needs.
