Fanidhar Group Chairman Krunal Patel and President Bibhu Prasad Swain met Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister KV Singh Deo in Bhubaneswar today to discuss the proposed projects.
During the meeting, Singh Deo highlighted the Odisha government’s initiatives to attract investment in the food processing sector, reaffirming the state’s commitment to providing subsidies and other incentives to investors. He also encouraged businesses to take advantage of benefits under the Mukhya Mantri Krushi Udyog Yojana to boost agribusiness opportunities in the state.
The Fanidhar Group, which has already developed a mega food park in Mehsana, Gujarat, has also shown interest in setting up a similar food park in Odisha in the future, according to a statement by the state government.
The meeting was attended by Agriculture Department Principal Secretary Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Horticulture Department Director Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, and other senior officials.
The proposed projects align with Odisha’s vision to strengthen its agriculture and food processing infrastructure, ensuring better market access for farmers and boosting employment in the sector.
