
Puri: Pramod Sawant, the Chief Minister of Goa, embarked on a spiritual journey as he visited the sacred Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, on Sunday. Accompanied by his family members, Sawant paid his respects to the sibling deities at the 12th-century shrine.
During his visit, Sawant expressed his joy at having the opportunity to seek the divine blessings of the trinity after many years. He participated in the morning darshan, taking in the spiritual aura of the holy site.
The Chief Minister offered prayers to Lord Jagannath, seeking economic prosperity for Goa and the well-being of its people. He also commended the ongoing developmental initiatives in and around the Jagannath Temple, acknowledging their significance.
