CSIR Partners with Laghu Udyog Bharati to Empower MSMEs through Technology Transfer

New Delhi: The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the transfer of advanced technologies to Micro and Small Entrepreneurs (MSMEs). The MoU, signed at the CSIR Headquarters, aims to transfer 100 CSIR technologies to MSMEs within 100 days, accelerating innovation and enhancing the competitiveness of small industries across India.

The signing event was attended by Dr. N Kalaiselvi, Secretary DSIR & Director General of CSIR, along with key dignitaries from both CSIR and LUB. The initiative is expected to enhance market reach, foster export promotion, and support import substitution for MSMEs. During the event, 15 cutting-edge technologies, including pesticide detection kits, multi-copter drones, and air quality monitoring systems, were transferred to various companies.
