Congress Replaces Candidate for Digapahandi Assembly Seat in Odisha Elections

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the upcoming elections in Odisha, the Congress party has announced a change in its candidate for the Digapahandi Assembly seat in Ganjam district.

Saka Sujit Kumar has been nominated by the Congress party to contest from the Digapahandi constituency, replacing the previously named candidate, Shreedhar Dev.

The official announcement was made by the Odisha Congress, stating, “This is for the information to the general public that the official candidate of INC from (134) Digapahandi assembly is Saka Sujit Kumar.”

The decision to replace the candidate comes amidst strategic considerations and assessments by the party leadership. While Shreedhar Dev was initially named as the candidate for the Digapahandi Assembly seat, the party has opted for Saka Sujit Kumar to represent its interests in the constituency.
