Bhubaneswar: The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Odisha has named Dr. Lekhasri Samantsinghar as its candidate for the Balasore Lok Sabha constituency in the upcoming general elections of 2024.
Dr. Samantsinghar, known for her extensive contributions to the medical field and her active involvement in community welfare programs, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the electoral arena.
In declaring Dr. Samantsinghar as the BJD’s representative for Balasore, Naveen Patnaik emphasized her capability to address the pressing issues facing the constituency and her dedication to working tirelessly for the betterment of its residents.
The nomination of Dr. Samantsinghar completes the BJD’s lineup for all 21 Lok Sabha seats in the state, signaling the party’s readiness and determination to contest the forthcoming elections comprehensively.
Lekhasri Samantsingha was the BJP State Vice President. She joined BJD on April 7.
