Avinash Patnaik set to give Odia touch in MasterChef India

Bhubaneswar: The new season of the popular cooking competition MasterChef India is all set to start and Odisha has a reason to cheer.

Odia boy Avinash Patnaik, known for his experimentation with different ingredients and coming up with unique recipes will be seen as one of the contestants in the show to be judged by Chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Garima Arora.

A food blogger and home chef from Bhubaneswar, Avinash has been sharing various recipes through his social media handle @bhukadinshan.

Apart from being a good home chef, he is an amazing digital illustrator and painter. He is also pursuing his Ph.D. in Horticulture.

The auditions for the show happened in various cities of the country of which the Top 36 Contestants were selected. Out of the Top 36 contestants, only 16 Home Cooks have been selected for the next round and Avinash is part of that. Those selected will get an Apron for the next round.

The show starts in January 2 on Sony Entertainment Television Channel.
