Winners of ‘Oh My Beautiful Odisha 2.0’ Photography Contest Felicitated

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Discoms, a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, honored the winners of the second edition of the ‘Oh My Beautiful Odisha 2.0’ photography contest at a grand ceremony in Bhubaneswar.

The contest, which centered around the theme ‘Cultural Heritage of Odisha,’ received an overwhelming 5,000 entries from photography enthusiasts across the state. The winning entries, showcasing Odisha’s rich cultural, natural, and architectural legacy, will be featured in the Odisha Discoms 2025 Calendar.

The event was graced by Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Sanjay Banga, President-T&D, Tata Power, and the CEOs of Odisha Discoms – Arvind Singh (TPCODL), Dwijadas Basak (TPNODL), and Amit Garg (TPSODL), along with other senior dignitaries.

Celebrating Artistic Excellence

A total of 13 winners were felicitated, each receiving a cash prize of ₹15,000 and the honor of having their photographs featured in the annual calendar. The winners’ work beautifully captured the essence of Odisha’s festivals, architecture, landscapes, and cultural traditions.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo lauded the initiative, stating,“Odisha’s cultural heritage is a treasure trove of breathtaking landscapes and vibrant traditions. I commend Tata Power for providing a platform that showcases local talent while highlighting the beauty of our state. Congratulations to all the winners for their exceptional contributions.”
