Amidst rising cases of Black Fungus infection across India, reports of another dangerous fungal infection has been emerging from Patna, Bihar.
It has been found that four patients in Patna have been infected with White fungus which is considered to be more dangerous than Black fungus.
According to doctors, white fungus is more dangerous as it affects lungs as well as other parts of the body including nails, skin, kidney, brain, stomach, private parts and mouth.
People with weak immunity are vulnerable to the infection. Diabetes patients, latest kidney operation patients and those taking steroids for a long period are at risk of getting infected with fungus.
