Vietnam People’s Navy Corvette 20 Receives Warm Welcome at MILAN 2024 in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam:  In a celebration of maritime camaraderie and regional cooperation, the Indian Navy extends a warm Xin-Chao (Hello) to Corvette 20 of the Vietnam People’s Navy, which arrived at Visakhapatnam for the much-anticipated MILAN 2024 naval exercise.

The City of Destiny, Visakhapatnam, is honored to host the Vietnamese Corvette 20 as part of the MILAN 2024 event, reinforcing the shared commitment to maritime security and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.

The arrival of Vietnam People’s Navy Corvette 20 marks a significant moment in the strengthening of maritime ties between India and Vietnam. The MILAN 2024 exercise provides an ideal platform for naval forces from different nations to engage in professional interactions, collaborative exercises, and mutual understanding.

As part of the MILAN 2024 exercise, naval vessels from various countries, including Vietnam, will engage in joint drills and exercises, contributing to the overall preparedness and interoperability of participating navies.
