New Delhi: Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, inaugurated the National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) Annual Conference 2025 in New Delhi today. Themed “Anti-Doping Science: Innovations and Challenges,” the conference brought together leading experts from the sports and scientific communities to discuss advancements and challenges in anti-doping science.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mandaviya reaffirmed the Government of India’s commitment to clean and fair sports. He emphasized the need for early education on doping, advocating for its inclusion in school curricula and awareness campaigns in rural areas. He also urged sports federations and organizations to take an active role in ensuring that athletes are well-informed about anti-doping regulations. Highlighting the importance of cutting-edge scientific research and technological advancements, he underscored their role in safeguarding athletes’ careers and maintaining the credibility of sporting events at both national and international levels.
