UK Couple Breaks Guinness World Record of Greatest Height Difference

A UK couple has broken the record for the greatest height differential of a married couple (different sexes or taller woman).

Setting a new Guinness World Record, the wife is 2 feet taller than the husband.

James (33) and Chloe Lusted (27), got married in 2016. While James is 109.3 centimetres tall (3 feet 7 inches), Chloe is 166.1 centimetres tall (5 feet 5.4 inches). The couple has a height difference of 56.8 centimetres which is almost 2 feet (1 foot 10 inches).

James has one of the rarest types of dwarfism (Diastrophic Dysplasia), a genetic disorder that affects bones and cartilage development.

“I came to a point where I had to say to myself that dwarfism doesn’t own me, I own my dwarfism. I just wanted to be the same as everyone else and live my life in a big way, in a little body,” James told Guinness World Records.

The couple have been married for five years and have a two-year-old daughter.
