U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs to Strengthen Ties During Visit to India and Qatar

 

Washington, D.C.:  Rena Bitter, the Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, is set to embark on a diplomatic mission from February 19 to 27, covering key cities in India and Qatar. The visit aims to reinforce diplomatic ties, observe consular operations, and engage in bilateral dialogues with counterparts in New Delhi.

During her visit to India, home to the second-largest U.S. consular operation globally, Assistant Secretary Bitter will tour facilities in Chennai and Mumbai. In New Delhi, she will lead a U.S. delegation in a bilateral consular dialogue, reflecting the significant partnership between the two nations.
