Two Senior Advisors to Odisha CM Resign from Posts

Bhubaneswar: Retired IAS officers R Balakrishnan and Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, who were serving as Chief Advisor, Special Initiatives, and Chief Advisor, Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) respectively, have resigned from their posts. They resigned a day after the election verdict came.

The General Administration & Public Grievance Department has accepted their resignations, effective from the forenoon of June 5th. Both Balakrishnan and Mahapatra played pivotal roles in advising and assisting in the implementation of various initiatives and policies within the Odisha government.
