‘The Art of Life’, a Film By Santosh Panda Wins An Award at Film Carnival

Bhubaneswar: ‘The Art of Life’, a Hindi non-feature film written and directed by Santosh Panda, has been awarded with an Outstanding Achievement Award at World Film Carnival held at Singapore recently.

The film based on sand art and also highlights the Culture, Tourism and Disaster Management by Odisha.

“The sand art has been used as a metaphor in the film and through the film I wanted to convey a social message,” said Santosh.

The film has been screened at numerous film festivals across the country and abroad and bagged awards. 

Overwhelmed with the recognition, Santosh said, “I am happy that through my film people outside India got to know about Odisha’s sand art, culture, tourism and disaster preparedness. I feel proud that the film got recognition on an International platform.”
