India’s Robot Astronaut “Vyommitra” Set to Embark on Uncrewed Space Mission Ahead of “Gaganyaan” Manned Mission
New Delhi: In a significant stride towards India’s ambitious “Gaganyaan” mission, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh, announced that an uncrewed mission featuring the woman robot astronaut “Vyommitra” is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
