Dhenkanal: Nearly 50 heritage enthusiasts, including students from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) and Dhenkanal Autonomous College, gathered yesterday to explore the rich cultural legacy of the Gajalaxmi Puja in Dhenkanal. Their focus was on the intricate “Chandi Medhas” or silver tableaus, which are a hallmark of the celebration.
Aizawl: In a significant stride towards strengthening community media, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw today announced the winners of the 10th National Community Radio Awards. The event also marked the inauguration of India’s 500th Community Radio Station, ‘Apna Radio 90.0 FM’, at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Aizawl, Mizoram. The ceremony was graced by Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan and Chief Minister of Mizoram Lalduhoma.
