Bhubaneswar: A group of students from Government High Schools met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and proudly presented him with the Guinness Book of World Records plaque they earned for their remarkable achievement in writing ‘Mo Katha Mo Kahani.’
During a literature and creativity program organized at the school level as part of the first World Odia Language Conference, these students crafted stories and poems under the theme “Mo Katha Mo Kahani.” In a momentous feat, they secured a Guinness World Record for uploading handwritten documents on the ‘Facebook’ social media platform in the highest numbers within an hour, accomplished last Friday.
Swapnil Dangarikar, the senior adjudicator from the Guinness Book of Records, bestowed the students with recognition and honoured them with a commemorative plaque.
The Chief Minister congratulated the students for their exceptional achievement, expressing curiosity about their future aspirations. He provided words of encouragement, urging them to aspire for greatness in the years ahead and appreciating their accomplishments with thoughtful gifts.
Sushmita Bagchi, Chairperson of “Mo School,” and Aswathy S, Commissioner and Secretary of the School and Mass Education Department, were also present on this momentous occasion. The students’ dedication and literary prowess showcased during the first World Odia Language Conference have brought pride and recognition to their schools and the state.
