Srimandira Parikrama Set to Captivate Devotees and Spectators, Chief Secretary requests everyone to join

Puri: Tomorrow, on January 17th, the sacred town of Puri will witness the grand inauguration ceremony of the Srimandira Parikrama Project. This auspicious event promises to be a celebration marked by devotion and gaiety, drawing guests from various states to participate in this historic occasion.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has taken a significant step by declaring January 17th as a public holiday. The holiday extends to all government institutions, government schools, colleges, and universities, ensuring widespread participation.

Responding to this, Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena has appealed to private institutions, schools, and businesses to facilitate the live telecast of the Shree Mandir Parikrama Project on January 17th.

The live broadcast is scheduled from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM, allowing employees, teachers, and students to witness the event in the comfort of their respective institutions. This initiative aims to foster a sense of collective participation in the historic inauguration.

Chief Secretary Jena has further extended the invitation to all the citizens of Odisha, urging them to join the programme by watching the live broadcast of the Srimandir Parikrama Project. This indirect participation is seen as a collective effort to make the event a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for everyone involved.

As the anticipation builds, the Srimandira Parikrama Project inauguration stands poised to become a momentous occasion, bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Puri.
