Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal Tie the Knot in Intimate Civil Ceremony

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and actor Zaheer Iqbal are now officially husband and wife, having completed all the legal formalities of a civil marriage. The ceremony took place in Sonakshi’s luxurious sea-facing apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai.

The intimate wedding was attended by close friends and family, including Sonakshi’s parents, Bollywood veteran and newly-elected Lok Sabha MP from Asansol, Shatrughan Sinha, and his wife, Poonam. Also present was Sonakshi’s close friend and ‘Double XL’ co-star, Huma Qureshi.

Shortly after their marriage was formalized, the newlyweds shared their first pictures as husband and wife on social media. The couple’s wedding looks were instantly celebrated by fans and well-wishers online.

Zaheer Iqbal, who made his Bollywood debut in the Salman Khan-produced film ‘Notebook’, met Sonakshi through Salman in 2017 on the film’s set. ‘Notebook’ also marked the debut of Pranutan Bahl, daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl and granddaughter of the legendary actress Nutan.

As the couple embarks on this new journey together, they have received an outpouring of love and congratulations from the film industry and their fans.
