
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today appointed senior IPS officer S.K. Priyadarshi as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of the Odisha Police Housing and Welfare Corporation (OPHWC). Priyadarshi, who currently serves as the Additional Director General (ADG) of Police, Modernization, has been entrusted with the additional charge of OPHWC.
A notification issued by the Home Department confirmed the appointment, stating, “S.K. Priyadarshi, IPS (R.R. 1995), Additional D.G. of Police, Modernization, Odisha, is allowed to remain in additional charge of CMD, OPHWC in addition to his own duties until further orders.”
Priyadarshi, a senior officer from the 1995 batch of the Indian Police Service, has previously held key positions, including serving as the Police Commissioner of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate. His experience and leadership in the modernization of Odisha’s police infrastructure make him well-suited for this additional role.
