Visakhapatnam: The Sea Phase of Exercise MALABAR 2024 commenced today in the Bay of Bengal, with naval forces from Australia, India, Japan, and the United States showcasing high levels of cooperation and operational synergy. The four nations, integral to the Indo-Pacific strategic framework, are participating with their warships, helicopters, and long-range maritime patrol aircraft, working together to strengthen maritime security in the region.

The exercise features a broad spectrum of maritime warfare operations, encompassing surface, sub-surface, and air warfare domains.
