Sambalpur’s Developmental Surge: Odisha Govt Sanctions Rs. 58 Crore for 1347 Projects

Bhubaneswar: On the directive of the Chief MinisterNaveen Patnaik, Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, Kartik Pandian, visited Sambalpur District on 14th February to oversee the progress of various developmental projects and engage with the local community.

During his visit, numerous concerns were raised, particularly regarding the renovation of religious institutions and community structures. Responding promptly, Kartik Pandian assured swift resolution to the grievances. The Chief Minister approved the projects based on Shri Pandian’s recommendations, emphasizing their significance for the local populace.

Today, a Sanction Order Distribution Program was conducted at four locations in the district: Remed Field in Sambalpur, Kuchinda College Field, Jujomura Hockey Field in Rairakhol, and Bishalkhinda Field in Rengali, witnessing the participation of thousands of residents. A total of 1347 projects, with a cumulative cost of Rs. 58 Crores, were sanctioned in response to the grievances voiced by the public.

The distribution of sanction orders was carried out by Hon’ble State Ministers: Sri Niranjan Pujari in Sambalpur, Smt. Rita Sahu in Kuchinda, Shri Prafulla Mallick in Jujumora, and Smt. Tukuni Sahu in Rengali.

Hon’ble MLA Shri Pranab Prakash Das played a crucial role in bringing the public demand for the renovation of religious institutions to the attention of the Chief Minister and Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha, Shri Kartik Pandian. Expressing gratitude for the swift resolution of public grievances, Shri Das commended the proactive approach in addressing the needs of the community.

Shri Kartik Pandian remarked, “The Hon’ble Chief Minister views the people of Odisha as his family, respecting their religious requirements. Consequently, a large number of projects have been sanctioned for Sambalpur district.”

During the program, several individuals expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Chairman 5T, Shri Kartik Pandian, for promptly considering their requests and sanctioning the projects within a short span of time.
