
New Delhi: The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has entered into a significant academic collaboration with the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalized on November 4, 2024, at SAIL’s Corporate Office in New Delhi.
This partnership aims to introduce customized Management Development Programmes tailored for SAIL’s newly promoted executives, enhancing their leadership and management capabilities. The collaboration aligns with SAIL’s strategic focus on Learning and Development (L&D) to enrich the academic and professional growth of its workforce.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri KK Singh, Director (Personnel) at SAIL, and Dr. Nirmalya Bagchi, Director of ASCI, Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Shri KK Singh emphasized the importance of continuous learning and upskilling for organizational growth, noting that partnerships with premier institutions like ASCI are pivotal for nurturing leadership talent within SAIL.
Dr. Nirmalya Bagchi expressed ASCI’s commitment to contributing to the holistic development of SAIL’s executives, highlighting that the customized programmes would offer practical and strategic insights for enhancing leadership in the steel industry.
