SAIL Bags Eight National Awards for Excellence in Public Relations

Raipur: The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has been honored with eight prestigious awards at the 46th All India Public Relations Conference organized by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI). The conference took place in Raipur from December 20 to 22, 2024.

SAIL’s exceptional achievements were recognized across diverse categories, reflecting its innovative and impactful communication strategies. The awards included accolades for its E-Newsletter SAIL Track, Corporate Film (English), Best Communication Campaigns (Internal Publics) for the celebration of SAIL Gaurav Diwas, House Journal (English) SAIL News, and the Best PR Programme for Promoting Science & Technology in steel plant technologies.

Other notable recognitions were for the Best Use of Social Media in a Corporate Campaign, highlighting SAIL’s efforts to promote green steel, along with awards for its Corporate Website and Annual Report.

Commenting on the recognition, SAIL Chairman Shri Amarendu Prakash stated, “These awards underscore the various efforts of our communication initiatives in enhancing SAIL’s image and outreach. SAIL has always given due emphasis on effective communication, which plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s image and forging better stakeholder relationships. This recognition is a testimony to SAIL’s dedication to excellence in communication. As we move forward, we will continue to innovate and uphold the highest standards in all our communication endeavors.”

The achievements have been widely applauded by SAIL employees, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to excellence in public relations.
