Jaipur: In a night of glamour, music, and celebration, Rajasthan’s own Manika Vishwakarma was crowned Miss Universe India 2025, securing her place to represent the country at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand on November 21.
The finale, held at Sitapura in Jaipur, brought together 48 contestants from across India, each showcasing talent, elegance, and individuality. Amid thunderous applause, Manika stood out with her grace, confidence, and presence of mind to claim the top honour. Tanya Sharma was named the first runner-up.
The event was judged by Miss Universe India owner Nikhil Anand, actress and Miss Universe India 2015 Urvashi Rautela, and filmmaker Farhad Samji. Speaking at the finale, Anand said Jaipur was chosen to highlight the Pink City’s rich art and culture, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
Alongside the competition, the evening also offered entertainment, with contestants and performers lighting up the stage with popular songs including “Dheere Dheere Se Meri Zindagi Mein Aana” and “Dama Dam Mast Kalandar”, which had the audience on their feet.
Participants came from across the country — from Madhya Pradesh and Odisha to Punjab, Gujarat, and Delhi — but it was Manika’s poise and elegance that won over the jury and the audience alike.
With her victory, she joins the league of Indian beauty queens who have gone on to shine at global stages. As the nation turns its eyes toward Thailand in November, hopes are high that Manika will bring the Miss Universe crown back to India.
