Rafael Nadal has won his 14th French Open title, taking his career grand slam tally to 22. On Sunday Rafael beat Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in the French Open final at Roland Garros.
Nadal’s victory came two days after his 36th birthday with which he became the oldest title winner in the history of the tournament. He was 19 when he won his first grand slam.
With this win, he is two now ahead of rivals Roger Federer in winning the number of grand slams. No man or woman ever has won the singles trophy at any major event more than his 14 in Paris.
