India tops in FIBA U 18 Asian Championship 22 SABA Qualifiers

Cuttack: India won the match against Bangladesh in the FIBA U 18 Asian Championship 22 SABA Qualifiers at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. India outclassed Bangladesh by 111-47 in the final round.

With their second successive win in the 3 team qualifiers, India will represent the SABA sub-zone at the FIBA U 18 Asian Championship scheduled at Teheran, Iran from Aug 21.

Kushal Singh top-scored with 20 points, while Lokendra Singh logged 16. Endadul Hoque Piash was Bangladesh’s best player with 17 points.

Bangladesh finished second in the Qualifiers.
