Principal Secretary to the PM Visits Krushi Samiksha Kendra and Millets Shakti Cafe in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Dr. Pramod Kumar Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, visited the Krushi Samiksha Kendra at Krushi Bhawan on Friday to acquaint himself with the groundbreaking initiatives undertaken by the Odisha Government in the realm of Digital Public Infrastructure for agriculture.

During the visit, he received a comprehensive briefing on the state’s innovative utilization of digital platforms to boost agricultural productivity and ensure sustainability. The Krushi Samiksha Kendra has been instrumental in implementing these digital interventions, contributing to the advancement of the agricultural sector.

Dr. Mishra also took the opportunity to explore the Millets Shakti Cafe, gaining insights into the efforts made by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment to promote millets and create awareness about their nutritional benefits.

Principal Secretary of the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, along with other senior officials, accompanied Dr. Mishra during the visit, facilitating discussions and providing detailed information on the state’s initiatives in the agricultural domain. The interaction emphasized the significance of technology in driving positive transformations in the agriculture sector and fostering sustainable practices.
