Prime Minister Narendra Modi Engages in Bilateral Talks with Qatari Counterpart

Doha:  Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi commenced his visit to Doha, Qatar, with a significant meeting with His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar. This marks the first official engagement of Prime Minister Modi during his visit to the Gulf nation.

The meeting between the two leaders focused on broadening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including trade, investment, energy, finance, and technology. Both Prime Ministers expressed their commitment to strengthening the ties between India and Qatar for mutual benefit.

Discussions also delved into recent regional developments in West Asia, with an emphasis on the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region and extending these efforts beyond. The leaders acknowledged the strategic significance of collaboration between India and Qatar in addressing common challenges and promoting shared interests.
