
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Embarks on Bilateral Visit to Qatar
Doha: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has arrived in Doha for an official visit to Qatar, marking his second trip to the Gulf nation. His earlier visit was in June 2016. Upon arrival at the airport, Prime Minister Modi was warmly received by H.E. Mr. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, State Minister for Foreign Affairs.
The two-day visit is anticipated to bolster the existing diplomatic ties between India and Qatar, fostering cooperation in various domains. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to attend a dinner hosted by Qatar’s Prime Minister, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as part of the official reception.
On February 15, Prime Minister Modi is set to engage in a crucial meeting with the Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The discussions will span bilateral matters, alongside dialogues on regional and global issues of mutual interest. The diplomatic exchange is expected to further fortify the strategic partnership between India and Qatar.
