President of India to Inaugurate World Homoeopathy Day Scientific Convention

New Delhi: President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will inaugurate a two-day Scientific Convention organized by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) on April 10 at Yashobhoomi Conventional Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi. The convention, themed “Empowering Research, Enhancing Proficiency: A Homoeopathic Symposium,” coincides with World Homoeopathy Day and aims to advance evidence-based scientific treatment in clinical practice and health programs.

The event will commence with an inaugural ceremony followed by a session titled ‘Words of Wisdom,’ featuring the felicitation of 08 Padma Awardees. Additionally, 17 CCRH publications will be released, including volumes on Homoeopathic Drug Proving, Drug Monograph – Rauwolfia, and Homoeopathic Materia Medica, among others.

Subsequent sessions will feature talks and panel discussions on various topics such as modern perspectives in homoeopathy, clinician perspectives, and advancing practice. Renowned figures including Dr. V.K. Gupta, Chairman, SAB, CCRH, and Sh. B.K Singh, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, will share insights during these sessions.

The convention will also include sessions on translational research, evidence-based practice, epidemic and public health, and homoeopathic drug standardization. Leading scientists from various fields will participate as resource persons, enriching the discourse with their expertise.

With approximately 80 poster presentations and 30 pharmaceutical and other firms showcasing their offerings at exhibition stalls, the event promises to be a hub of learning and collaboration.
