President Droupadi Murmu to Undertake Historic State Visit to Fiji, New Zealand, and Timor-Leste
Berhampur: President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Berhampur and preside as the chief guest at the 25th Convocation Ceremony of Berhampur University. Scheduled for March 1st, the ceremony will witness Smt. Murmu conferring doctorate, D.Litt, and other degrees to deserving students and researchers.
The convocation proceedings will be conducted under the esteemed presence of the Governor and Chancellor, Sri Raghubar Das. The event, spanning 50 minutes from 10:45 am to 11:35 am, will be orchestrated by University Chancellor Professor Gitanjali Das.
Preparations for the convocation program are already in full swing. The visit of the President is anticipated to elevate the prestige of Ganjam, Berhampur, and South Odisha, according to local intellectuals. The ceremony is expected to be a momentous occasion, recognizing and celebrating the academic achievements of the university’s graduating scholars and researchers.
