President Droupadi Murmu Pays Homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on Parakram Diwas

New Delhi: On the occasion of Parakram Diwas, the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, paid heartfelt homage to the iconic freedom fighter, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, on his birth anniversary, which falls on January 23, 2024. The solemn ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where President Murmu offered floral tributes in front of a portrait of Netaji.

Parakram Diwas is celebrated annually to commemorate the extraordinary bravery and leadership of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The day serves as a reminder of his indomitable spirit and contributions to India’s struggle for independence.

President Murmu’s homage reflects the nation’s collective reverence for Netaji’s legacy and the enduring impact of his courageous endeavors in shaping the destiny of the nation. The ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan is a poignant acknowledgment of Netaji’s pivotal role in India’s fight against colonial rule.
