
New Delhi: In a ceremonial event, President of India, Droupadi Murmu, bestowed Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri Awards for the year 2024 upon deserving recipients. The Civil Investiture Ceremony-II took place today at the illustrious Darbar Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Distinguished dignitaries, including Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah, along with several Union Ministers, graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the significance of the event.
During the ceremony, President Murmu presented a total of 2 Padma Vibhushan, 9 Padma Bhushan, and 56 Padma Shri Awards to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions and achievements in their respective fields. The prestigious awards serve as a testament to their dedication, talent, and commitment to excellence.
