New Delhi: In a grand ceremony held at the Ganatantra Mandap of Rashtrapati Bhawan today, the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, presented the prestigious Padma Awards for the year 2025, honoring distinguished individuals for their exceptional contributions across various fields.
At the Civil Investiture Ceremony-I, President Murmu conferred 4 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan, and 57 Padma Shri Awards in the presence of the nation’s top leadership. The Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah, several Union Ministers, and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
The Padma Awards, among the highest civilian honors of the country, recognize achievements in disciplines such as art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, and civil service.
