
Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to grace Odisha with his presence on March 5, embarking on a visit that promises significant developmental milestones and a direct interaction with the public. The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes laying foundation stones and inaugurating various projects in Chandikhol, followed by a public meeting.
Scheduled to arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the afternoon, Prime Minister Modi will touch down in Odisha via a special Air Force plane from Telangana. Upon arrival at BPIA, he will proceed to Chandikhol via a special helicopter, where he is slated to unveil and kickstart multiple projects that align with the state’s developmental agenda.
Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena conducted a high-level meeting at the Lok Seva Bhawan to review administrative and security preparedness for the Prime Minister’s visit. Attended by top officials, including Addl Chief Secretary Home Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, Development Commissioner cum Addl Chief Secretary Anu Garg, and other key authorities, the meeting covered various aspects to ensure a smooth and secure visit.
Details of the Prime Minister’s visit and the necessary preparations were shared by Special Secretary Home Santosh Bala during the meeting. The discussions encompassed administrative logistics, security arrangements, and coordination with different departments to ensure the successful execution of the visit.
